Reunion of those who were part of the events surrounding May 68 at Essex University
The reunion was a great success and took place on 9 June, 2018 at Guy's Bar near London Bridge station. Many thanks to all those who came and to all those who supported this historic event!

Miss World Demo Nov 1970. A film was made of the event - Misbehaviour - by the same team who produced Pride. Many Essex women joined the demo. If you were there, please click here for more infoAt the Essex 1968 re-union in June, a number of us were discussing the Miss World Demo of 1970 - a bus-load of women from Essex went to demonstrate inside and outside.
Next year will be the 50th anniversary of this demo and a major film is being made about the stories of and behind the event. Some of us who took part are now also planning a book about it, to be published at the same time as the release of the film. It is to be written by the wonderful Bea Campbell. We would like to include as many angles and accounts as possible.
The producers of the film are Pathe who made the wonderful film Pride, and a book Pride was later published, drawing on interviews of all the participants. This has inspired us to do the same.
